Wildlights at the Zoo

One of our favorite things to do in the city at Christmas time is go to the zoo. They do an absolutely fantastic job lighting up the zoo with thousands of beautiful strands of lights. We missed out on this tradition last year, but we made up for it by getting starbucks and getting our good friends to join us. The weather was perfect...not too chilly, but just cold enough to bundle up. This is the perfect family friendly tradition that I can see us doing with our future family.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It is really starting to look like Christmas around here! I loved creating new decorations this fall in preparation for Christmas and I think the hard (but fun!) work paid off! I continued my tradition of making paper birds and decided to add origami cranes to the mix this year.

I will let the pictures do the talking :)
(beware...photo dump of around 20 photos!)
